Yixin Cao（Milo）

I produced a series of posters that organized the story that I lose 40 pounds during last year. These three posters based on three types of data–quantitative, qualitative, and visual. We engaged in a series of workshops to develop research methods for creating, organizing, visualizing, and contextualizing data sets.

 

 

I combined collage with computer media to explore the process. I explored the colors, layout, types, shapes and emotions by reading Paul Rand (Steven, 1999) and Type, Image and Massage (Skolos & Thomas, 2006). The visual data not only showed my design work, but also presented my personality.
